Two chiropractors, three chiropractic assistants, a fair amount of coffee and a shared weakness for a terrible joke. Between them they have looked after generations of the same families across Mitcham, Unley and the suburbs around us.

Dr Harriet Walker

Owner and chiropractor

Mum, chiropractor, avid coffee drinker and lifelong learner. Harriet took over the practice in February 2024, in the rooms where her own chiropractic care began as a child.

Bachelor of Health Science / Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic). Applied Kinesiology Certification (ICAK). Advanced ABC Certification. Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers.

Dr Adelle Semmler

Chiropractor

Chiropractor, lacrosse player and dog mum to Rigby. Adelle started here as a chiropractic assistant, so she has seen the practice from both sides of the table.

There is no front desk here and no one sitting behind a counter. Abella, Jo R and Jo W are part of your care team, and they are usually the first and last people you speak to on a visit.

Hi, I'm Abella! I'm one of the chiropractic assistants here at The Chiro Crew, and I love being part of the welcoming, supportive environment we create for our community.

I enjoy connecting with people, helping them feel comfortable, and supporting them throughout their chiropractic journey, whether that is booking appointments, answering questions, or simply being a friendly face when they walk through the door.

I'm passionate about health, wellbeing, and nutrition, and I love being part of a team that genuinely cares about helping people feel their best. When I'm not studying my business diploma, you'll usually find me at the gym or in the kitchen creating delicious meals to fuel both my body and my cravings!

Studying chiropractic at ACC. Previously a yoga instructor, massage therapist and natural therapist.

Hi, I'm Jo! I am one of the chiropractic assistants here at The Chiro Crew, and I look forward to supporting you throughout your chiropractic journey.

I've always had a passion for natural health and am fascinated by how well the body adapts when it is given the right support. I love learning about the nervous system and the part it plays in how we feel day to day.

Before joining the team here, I lived in Queensland and worked as a yoga instructor, massage therapist, and natural therapist. I'm currently studying chiropractic at ACC, combining my passion for helping people with my love of learning.

Outside of the practice and study, you'll usually find me exploring my new state, hiking, camping, hosting games nights (don't let my quiet nature fool you, I can be surprisingly competitive!), or relaxing at home with my pets.

Hello! A quick insight into what brings me joy. My ideal day involves sunshine, outdoor exploring with my children and eating nourishing foods, and that is how we chose to spend most of our days, because why not do the things you love!

I love learning and educating others on low tox and sustainable living, as well as mindset shifts. In the winter you will find me playing football, and in the spring and summer I get stuck into the veggie garden. I'm currently studying homeopathy and have loved learning more about health and the body.

I begun working here in 2012 and in those 12+ years my favourite aspects have been the way the chiropractic philosophy has shaped how my family thinks about health, and the amazing relationships I've built with the people we have seen in that time. I look forward to continue growing these relationships and supporting you through your own health journeys!

What it is like walking in

The practice is open plan, so you will usually see other people being adjusted while you wait. There is music on, the kids' table is out, and it feels closer to arriving at somebody's house than turning up to a clinic.

We are on Belair Road in Kingswood, about ten minutes from the Adelaide CBD and an easy drive from Mitcham, Unley, Torrens Park, Netherby and Belair. Look for the 71 sign out the front.
